MSCBS features a poster session for young researchers such as postgraduate students, postdocs and junior PIs to present research findings. We are now calling for abstracts for all topics related to cognitive and brain sciences. Details are presented below:

Poster printing and display

  • Print by presenter and bring to the poster display venue (N1 Ground floor, left hand side of event main venue)
  • For UM poster participants, please bring to symposium poster counter (N1 Ground floor) on 29 Nov (Friday), from 15:00-17:00
  • For non UM poster participants, please bring to symposium poster counter (N1 Ground floor) on 30 Nov (Saturday) from 8:30-9:00

Requirements for Abstract

Topic Any topics related to cognitive and brain sciences
Language English
Structure of the abstract
  • Title
  • Name and affiliation
  • Objective
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Summary (max. 300 words from objective to summary)
  • Acknowledgments (optional)
  • Figures (max. 1 page, if any)
Poster Presentation
  • Print on quality paper, dimension: 0.8m*1.6m (width*length)
  • Bring your printed poster to the symposium venue, and the organizers will help place it on the board
  • Poster template (.pptx)

Award

First Level Awards: MOP500 department store cash coupon + Certificate each, 2 recipients
Second Level Awards: MOP300 department store cash coupon + Certificate for 5 recipients
Third Level Awards: MOP200 department store cash coupon + Certificate for 5 recipients
Merit Award: Certificate for 8 recipients

Important notes:

  • You need to register for the Symposium to join this session. Registration is free;
  • Poster presentation: One of the authors must show at the symposium to present the poster;
  • Multiple posters from one participant is allowed;
  • Bring your printed poster to the symposium venue, and the organizers will help place it on the board.
